Maranon Poison Frog - A5 print
This A5 print is perfect for those of you lacking too much space or wanting to add a little bit of fun to a corner of your house. It would look great as part of a gallery wall too.
The original was painted on canvas in acrylic and then bead embroidered on top, with stitching. The print still allows the beads to look quite 3D. The original painting took over 200 hours to create, with tiny seed beads and embroidery thread. It features a Excidobates Mysteriosus frog, found in Peru, therefore it's wearing a typical Peruvian hat.
Do you know someone that loves frogs? Or, someone that simply loves quirky animals, then this would be perfect. The print comes unmounted, so you can choose your own mount and frame. Get in touch if you'd like me to frame it too, and I can run through many options for you, as I am also a picture framer.
The image is printed on 200gsm bright-white premium paper stock, with silky texture, smooth finish and high print quality.
